Junior Customs Agent - Customs and logistics specialist

Your responsibilities

In this position you will be responsible for, among other things:

• checking the correctness and completeness of customs documents,
• preparation and handling of import, export and transit declarations (also under simplified procedures),
• monitoring the progress of clearance and participating in customs control activities,
• liaising with customs representatives and representing clients,
• analysing customer needs and advising on customs and logistics procedures,
• preparing letters and applications to the customs authorities,
• issuing certificates of origin, transit documents and other documents to accompany consignments,
• recording data in the company's systems and archiving them.

Our requirements

• current registration in the list of customs agents,
• A minimum of 2 years' experience in handling customs matters on the Polish and English side is welcome,
• practical skills in preparing import, export and transit declarations,
• good knowledge of customs procedures and legislation,
• experience with the programme Hussar and customs systems PUESC,
• communicative knowledge of the English language,
• good knowledge of MS Office,
• Communication skills, good organisation of work, self-reliance, commitment and ability to work in a team.
