Make sure your Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) certificates are up to date by 31 May!
To meet the IATA Accredited Agent or Intermediary registration requirements, it is crucial that your company demonstrates that it employs staff with a valid Dangerous Goods Acceptance Training Certificate. In order to maintain your Accredited Agent or Intermediary status, you must demonstrate that you continue to meet this requirement by ensuring that your company has submitted the latest Dangerous Goods Acceptance Training Certificates to IATA. This ensures that the DGR certificates currently registered in your account remain valid.
Please check or update your valid DGR certificates on the IATA Customer Portal by following the steps explained in the attached document 'Important Information on Dangerous Goods Regulations'. This document also explains the importance of having a valid DGR certificate, how to obtain one and how to easily communicate with IATA.
In addition, please check and ensure that your company's contact details are up to date in the system. This will ensure that you receive important communications from IATA in a timely manner.
Please check or update your valid DGR certificates in the system by 31 May.
Please note that failure to provide training certificates for acceptance of dangerous goods may result in termination of the contract with IATA and removal of the company from the cargo agency list.
If you have any problems, please contact IATA here or send your question to FIATA headquarters at legal@fiata.org.
